All-time great Raw guest host Hugh Jackman will hang up the adamantium after next Spring’s Logan, his tenth time as the X-Man Wolverine on the silver screen.
But don’t worry. As evidenced by this Instagram from Chile, where he and Lana are touring with the rest of the Raw Superstars, DA GAWD Rusev is trying out a new facial hair look which makes him ready to step into the role:
Jackman’s done good work personifying the character (even in some not-good movies), but he never really looked the part except for his hair. For those of us who remember when Uncanny X-Men was the most popular comic book in the world, back before Logan joined the Avengers- or had an origin beyond a Canadian laboratory, Rusev might actually be a better fit.
Okay, they’re both too tall, but at least Rusev has the thickness for the angry Canadian.
Plus, I just want to hear him call Roman Reigns “bub”. Just one time.
