WWE will tape NXT along with SmackDown on Tuesday after Survivor Series

On the Tuesday following Survivor Series, SmackDown Live will be at the Canadian Tire Center in suburban Ottawa (Kanata, Ontario). WWE announced yesterday that for the first time ever, they’ll also film for an episode of NXT at a main roster television event.

This makes sense, as NXT will also be in the area for TakeOver: Toronto on Nov. 19, the night before the main roster pay-per-view (PPV). WWE typically films their online and international programs Superstars and Main Event before Raw and SmackDown, but this will be new ground for NXT.

Hopefully they tape something meaningful. There’s a Full Sail taping set for Nov. 30, so this is meant to get them through to that - possibly along with the usual show of highlights and dark matches from Toronto.

As long as it’s not the time killing stuff like we got from WrestleMania Axxess, it should be fine. And a nice little bonus for fans in Kanata!
