Stephanie McMahon signs a three-year contract extension with WWE

WWE.com

Don’t expect “the Vincess” to take a break from the family business like her brother Shane, at least not any time soon.

Not that there were any indications Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon-Levesque would leave WWE... especially not with her husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque also entrenched in senior management, positioning them to essentially inherit the company whenever Vince McMahon is no longer in charge. But PWInsider found that in WWE’s recent filings to the Securities & Exchange Commission, Steph’s contract has been extended by three years.

McMahon-Levesque is now inked to the company until Oct. 7, 2019. This deal will also automatically extend on a year-to-year basis after 2019 unless either she or WWE states their intent to terminate it 90 days in advance.

While members of the management team who also appear as on-screen characters are often compensated differently for performing, nothing in the filing or the reporting of it clarifies if this is just a contract for her work as an executive. It seems pretty safe to assume she’ll remain a kayfabe presence until WWE decides the don’t need or want her on Raw or SmackDown.

Excited for (at least) three more years in the Queendom?
