WWE Raw ratings (Oct. 24, 2016): Viewers down for Brock Lesnar’s return

WWE.com

When Goldberg returned to WWE television for the first time in 12 years last week it resulted in a nice jump in viewers for Monday Night Raw. The show went from 2.75 million viewers the week before all the way up to 3.13 million.

They went crashing right back down this week.

Despite Brock Lesnar’s return, and a full week of promotion for multiple matches, the show drew 2.81 million viewers for all three hours. No single hour cracked the 3 million mark either.

Hour one: 2.98 million
Hour two: 2.80 million
Hour three: 2.66 million

There isn’t much WWE can do to get those numbers consistently above 3 million viewers, at least not during football season. It will be interesting to see what the turnaround looks like come WrestleMania season.

If there is one.
