It was only a matter of time.
It was weeks ago that reports first started making the rounds that Goldberg would return to WWE for a match with Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series on Sun., Nov. 20, 2016, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A couple weeks later, Goldberg did return and said Lesnar would be his last match.
Lesnar finally showed up on Monday Night Raw this week in a bizarre segment that didn’t go as planned and reportedly pissed Vince McMahon off such that he cut it short. It seemed clear the segment was designed to build to the announcement of the two wrestling at Survivor Series but they never got there.

The two will alternate appearance on Monday Night Raw in the weeks to come before both are scheduled to appear just six days before their match. Here’s to hoping WWE has a better plan than what they did last night.
