WWE Hell in a Cell 2016 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Hell in a Cell event set to take place on Sun., Oct. 30, 2016, at the TD Garden Arena in Boston, Massachusetts. The theme to this one is obvious: The most important matches on the card take place inside the Hell in a Cell structure.

We're just one week from showtime. Here's how the card looks right now:

- Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte (Hell in a Cell, Raw women's championship)

Banks laid down the challenge and Charlotte accepted because they want to make history as the first women to wrestle a Hell in a Cell match. Foley went along with it. It could be the main event, and graphics at the WWE website promoting the event feature these two. Foley initially announced it would be, then backed off. WWE has made a big deal about it being featured alone on the poster, the first time in company history that's been the case. It makes the most sense to put them on last.

- Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins (Hell in a Cell, Universal championship)

Rollins is getting his shot at the title but because WWE didn't want to make the top strap on the brand look lesser, they had to stick them in the Cell. The focus of the build has actually been on Rollins trying to drive a wedge between Owens and his best friend, Chris Jericho.

- Roman Reigns vs. Rusev (Hell in a Cell, US championship)

They got here because Reigns demanded that the next encounter be inside the Cell. I guess he wants to emphatically put an end to The Bulgarian Brute. They haven't done much to put this over the top over the past few weeks, instead attaching it to the Banks-Charlotte feud in some small way.

- The New Day vs. Cesaro & Sheamus (Raw tag team championship)

When they couldn't decide a winner in their best-of-7 series, Raw General Manager Mick Foley put Cesaro and Sheamus together as a tag team and gave them a title shot. Here it is. They haven't been able to get along yet.

- TJ Perkins vs. Brian Kendrick (Cruiserweight championship)

They keep talking about Kendrick being down to his last chance but then something happens and he gets another chance. Here's his latest.

That's the card so far. You watching?
