Things had been pretty quiet on the Raw/SmackDown management front. Sure, the gauntlet was thrown down and picked up for five-on-five matches for Survivor Series, but there hasn’t been much heat since the draft - or maybe SummerSlam, depending on whether you count the Brock Lesnar/Shane O’Mac affair as inter-brand conflict or just McMahon business as usual.
Beginning, as so many things do these days, with a few words from Daniel Bryan on Talking Smack, the General Managers are trying to make up for that.

Stephanie and Mick are somewhat cowardly at running their show.
Cowardly in the sense of... for example, they don't rely on their strictly RAW talent to sell their shows, they're bringing in people from the Attitude Era like Bill Goldberg. We don't need that here on SmackDown Live because we believe in our stars.

Foley hasn’t had the best week on social media, but I’m giving this round to him. Because really, Bryan still hasn’t found his soul since it was taken from him on Tuesday, Aug. 23, so any argument that invokes Miz’s evisceration of the Beard wins the day.
