Perry Saturn the latest WWE veteran to crowdfund medical treatment for allegedly wrestling-related ailments

WWE.com

It wasn’t that long ago we were sharing reports of WWE veteran Rico Constantino, his health issues and the efforts underway to help pay for his medical care.

Constantino’s GoFundMe page is only a little more than halfway to its goal, but he did share on the site recently that the money is helping him with treatments and allowing to stay on the medicines doctor’s are prescribing for his heart issues and Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), which he and others believe is related to his days in the wrestling ring.

Now, there’s word of another ex-wrestler in a similar situation. Former WCW, ECW and WWE star Perry Saturn is said to be dealing with a "serious" traumatic brain injury which has left him unable to work, and his wife, Lisa, in a position as his full-time caregiver.

Saturn shared a little bit about the position their in on Twitter over the last few days:

Like Constantino, he’s set-up a GoFundMe page to raise money for “living expenses, medical bills, and to arrange reliable transportation that can make it through the winter.”

And, as in Rico’s case, the biggest donation to date has come from Chris Irvine, who most of us watch on Monday night’s when he performs as Chris Jericho.

You can find the donation page at this link, and follow Saturn on Twitter here.

Everyone here at Cageside Seats sends our thoughts and prayers to Perry and his family.
