TJ Perkins defeated Brian Kendrick at Clash of Champions in his first defense of the cruiserweight championship last month. Considering his story, that he had just one last shot to make it, it seemed that would be the end of Kendrick.
Nope!
He admitted he goaded his way into another match with the champion, though it was non-title, then cheated to win said match so that he could get another shot at said title. That did the trick.
As announced during Monday Night Raw this week, Perkins will defend the cruiserweight championship against Kendrick at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on Sun., Oct. 30, 2016, at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
