When Becky Lynch was bumped from the No Mercy pay-per-view (PPV) and her planned SmackDown women’s title defense against Alexa Bliss, it made sense that Naomi would step in as a replacement. After all, she was the only other available babyface female in the division.
Sure enough, she stepped in and ... actually won?
Indeed, despite the fact that she was dominated for much of the match she pinned the number one contender clean in the center of the ring. One would think that would shake up the title picture. Bliss is currently scheduled to wrestle Lynch for the strap on Nov. 8 in Glasgow.
They teased said shake up on Talking Smack last night:

Bliss handles herself fine but seems just as baffled as the rest of us that not only did she lose out on a title shot but was then jobbed out to her replacement opponent. The reality is likely that she needs an opponent to feud with while Becky is dealing with her health issue and Naomi fits the bill.
Good enough for you?
