During Monday night's episode of RAW, the New Day was in the ring and set to ring in the new year when they were interrupted by the one and only Chris Jericho.
Jericho drew the ire of the New Day when he reprised his legendary first WWE promo by citing that ratings and live attendance was down and WWE could use a shot in the arm, Y2J style. Things came to a head when Jericho led the crowd in a chant of "ROOTY TOOTY BOOTY" for some reason. Jericho then announced he would officially enter the Royal Rumble on Jan. 24.
Jericho was last seen on WWE television on Oct. 3, when he unsuccessfully challenged Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Live from Madison Square Garden. That match also marked Jericho's 25th anniversary in professional wrestling.
But the question remains: how can we miss Jericho when he won't go away?
