My partner in Cageside crime, Sean Rueter, brought word earlier of speculation running rampant that Sheamus may be dealing with an injury after he tweeted a photo of himself wearing a cast on his arm. It looks like that's exactly the case.
That is if we can believe this report from the Wrestling Observer.
Dave Meltzer is saying the injury is, in fact, legitimate but the good news is it's not serious and he's just dealing with "tendonitis in the arm." What's more, it's entirely possible he won't miss a single episode of WWE television because of it, though he won't be able to wrestle any matches for a while.
When he'll be able to do that again is anyone's guess.
That would make two members of the League of Nations who can work TV but not wrestle in matches (King Barrett is the other). That's better than what WWE is facing with so many of its other top stars.
Speaking of which, Meltzer also notes there may be more injury news to come.
Stay tuned.
