WWE SmackDown spoilers (Jan. 28, 2016): Highlight Reel with Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose

WWE SmackDown returns to the USA Network this coming Thursday night (Jan. 28, 2016) from Tampa, Florida but the show was taped, as usual, on Tuesday. That means full spoilers are readily available if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.

Unwrap that present early:

- The New Day opened the show with a promo that was all about penis, or rather the fact that they wouldn't say that word on TV. The Miz showed up to join in on bashing The Rock before The Usos, Dolph Ziggler, and Titus O'Neil all arrived. You know what that means. Tag team match, playa!

- Usos & Ziggler & O'Neil def. New Day & Miz after Miz ate multiple finishers.

- Kalisto def. Neville in a US title match with Salida Del Sol. A step in the right direction and apparently a good match.

- Chris Jericho hosted the Highlight Reel with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. For what it's worth, Reigns was cheered and, when mentioned, Brock Lesnar was booed. So take that for what you will. Jericho wondered if the guys would have issues in the triple threat and they maintained the stance they always have. The Wyatt Family showed up and booked a six-man tag for the main event.

- Social Outcasts cut a promo upset that everyone wasn't talking about them but rather AJ Styles. This led to a match.

- AJ Styles def. Curtis Axel with the Styles Clash. Yes, Axel is now the answer to a trivia question.

- Charlotte def. Natalya with the Figure Eight in a standard match that featured some "we want Sasha" chants. She was interviewed backstage and said she is sick of others taking her spotlight and she's going to be her own boss from now on. Naomi and Tamina showed up to say they support her.

- They did another skit with R-Truth misunderstanding Goldust's intentions and running off.

- Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose & Chris Jericho def. The Wyatt Family when Braun Strowman, the one guy the heel team didn't use in the match, interrupted. They ran a beat down angle after and Big Show hit the scene for a staredown with Strowman. A fight breaks out and the babyfaces got the advantage.

That's the show. Your thoughts?
