WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR JAN. 25

Chris here. Tonight is gonna be a fun one...

WWE Signature and a recap of the Royal Rumble match with Triple H winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

________________________________________

Vince and Stephanie McMahon come out to the ring to start the show.

Vince tells everyone to shut up before saying that he feels damn good...he couldn't give a damn what we feel. After all, Roman Reigns has been broken, and we have a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Now Vince is here to make a confession - his first ever in WWE life. Roman Reigns enjoys the misfortunes and misery of others.....which is why Vince has been coming out week after week lately. However, the most miserable person tonight is Roman Reigns, and he's gonna stay that way.

Steph starts heeling about how they played us with Roman Reigns possibly winning....or Brock Lesnar....or AJ Styles (big pop for this). However, The Authority always knew that #30 was going to be Triple H.

(Insert huge "AJ Styles" chant here)

Steph now takes a few moments to introduce Triple H as the hardest-working and greatest WWE Superstar in history. He is also the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and no one can hold a candle to him.

Triple H comes out now, and he comes out to The Game instead of King of Kings. AND HE HAS THE WWE WHC UNDER HIS SUIT JACKET!!!

Vince tells us to bow down to the king, and some people oblige. Trips says that it's good to be king before putting Roman Reigns as a person that could be the best in WWE.

Today....he is not. After all, Reigns lacks respect (especially toward Vince), and needs to learn his place in life.

Trips compares Vince McMahon toward God and WWE as his religion, and Roman Reigns should be damned if he would dare disrespect Trips' religion.

Trips then addresses the burning question: why is he the WWE WHC for the 14th time? Trips didn't NEED to be WWE WHC, but he WANTED to be WWE WHC. And until Trips says so, he will be the WWE WHC, and there ain't a damn thing that can be done about it.

A high-pitched chant for Reigns starts, and Vince tells everyone to shut up and knocks the crowd for being disrespectful ninnies. After this, Steph asks a big question: Who will Triple H face at WrestleMania?

Well, Steph says that everyone will be evaulating everyone tonight, and the best two candidates will meet at Fastlane, and the winner of that match will get the honor of facing Trips at WrestleMania.

Dolph Ziggler vs Kevin Owens

Warning: Kevin Owens is pissed off tonight. RIP Ziggler. Also, Owens is still selling the Last Man Standing match from last night.

As per usual with these two, this was a pretty good match that saw Ziggler get more offense in than you would expect. In the end, this wasn't enough as Owens overpowered him and hit the pop-up powerbomb to get the win.

Backstage, Roman Reigns is walking backstage when Jojo approaches him asking about Vince McMahon's remarks. Reigns says that these people are ridiculous, and asks Jojo to tell The Authority that he is in the building

The Social Outcasts are in the ring, and they have things that they want to say. Heath Slater then gets distracted by Flo Rida, who is casually sitting at ringside. Slater tells Flo Rida to stay put or earn some shoving like he did last time. Adam Rose calls Heath "Heathy Baby", Curtis Axel says words, and Bo Dallas translates by saying that the Outcasts want to face Flo Rida in the ring.

Although his posse tries to hold him back, Flo Rida hops the barrier and enters the ring. Slater says that there is going to be a rap battle....Flo Rida vs Bo Rida....yep.

Bo puts on some bling and stuff and throws down some rhymes as the Outcasts wet themselves after every line that Bo drops.

Flo Rida is unimpressed, saying that he's gonna eat some suckas for lunch, and he goes on to drops some bars and eventually brings out The Dudley Boyz.

The Dudley Boyz vs Social Outcasts

This one happened and featured Flo Rida getting involved because of course. The Dudleys won with a 3D on Curtis Axel.

Renee Young interviews AJ Styles about his debut and upcoming match with Chris Jericho. Styles said that he turned WWE on its head. As he continues, Jericho appears and hypes their upcoming match...before telling Styles "welcome to the big leagues, kid" and slapping his chest.

________________________________________

AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho

Still feels insanely weird yet awesome typing AJ's name in a WWE blog.

As you would expect, this was an absolute barn-burner of a match. Jericho worked heel here and Styles sold the hell out of whatever Jericho delivered, including a very intense Walls of Jericho sequence that would make you think that Styles would tap out. Styles got the pinfall win after reversing a roll-up into a roll-up of his own following a teased Styles Clash.

Afterward, Styles extends his hand for a handshake, and Jericho hesitantly accepts, but he delays letting go, leading to an intense staredown.

Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch

These two had themselves a pretty good back-and-forth going for a good while. Becky had gotten Sasha in an armbar, which Sasha escaped by converting a roll-up for two. A few moments later, Sasha locked Becky in the Bank Statement...until a pissed off Charlotte came in and broke everything up.

Becky Lynch def Sasha Banks by DQ

Afterward, Charlotte beat both Sasha and Becky down......WE'RE GETTING A TRIPLE THREAT I THINK!!!

Backstage, Goldust is backstage listening to some music until R-Truth approaches. Goldust proposes that Truth be his new tag team partner, but Truth misunderstands this and awkwardly leaves, leaving Goldust with his foot in his mouth

________________________________________

Kane vs Bray Wyatt

This one happened and no one really cared. Wyatt won with Sister Abigail.

Bray Wyatt def Kane

After, The Wyatt Family beats Kane down some more.

Backstage, Rich Brennan is sent by people to investigate the suspicious limo backstage. He knocks on the window, and who comes out?

Surprise surprise, The Miz.

You see, The Miz couldn't go for three weeks without a comeback moment, and he tries to justify this to Brennan until there's a horn honk and a big-ass truck comes rolling up.

Who comes out of this? Why, The Rock, of course.

Rocky calls Miz a "flying nun" before telling him to park the truck, says hey to Rick Ross, talks to Big Show about the Royal Rumble 2000 ending botch and other things before Big Show get sad/angry and snaps his laptop.

Rocky walks way and stops when he sees Lana hanging out backstage, so he (of course) brings up their encounter in Brooklyn and their various hotel room lessons. Rusev approaches them from behind and Lana informs Rock that they're engaged. The awkwardness continues with Rock wishing the lovely couple well.

The Rock continues his monologue as he wishes Pat Patterson a happy birthday and introduces us to Gorilla Position (exact words).

________________________________________

And now The Rock comes out to the ring.

Rock asks if everyone is ready for WrestleMania, and the crowd responds with cheers. Rock goes on with how this Mania is going to be the biggest ever and all that before burying Byron Saxton for reasons.

Rock declares that we're going off script and goes down to the three cosplayers in the crowd to give them some lovely attention.

The Rock continues his ego massaging until The New Day decides to interrupt. The first thing they do is introduce Rocky to Mr. Byron Saxton. They then massage their own egos by putting themselves over.

Things get fun when Kofi Kingston calls out The People's Champ for not having any gold. Who does have gold? Why, The New Day does....and Francesca II is made of gold. A series of barbs toward The Rock and Lebron James ensues and this is an absolute mess.

The Rock says that he knows exactly who The New Day is, and he says that they're entertaining because they continue to wear "llama penises" on their heads.....the crowd chants because sheeple. The New Day corrects The Rock before Rock calls them "chocolate cornholes who run their mouths on TV." Big E rages as Rock continues the burial.

Eventually The Rock tells The New Day to get in the ring. They huddle, and of course get insulted by The Rock. This causes them to start to walk out until Rocky stops them and says that he has some plans.

Plan B, on the other hand, ALWAYS works: family. And on cue, The Usos come out and attack The New Day. During the chaos, Big E eats a Rock Bottom, Kofi Kingston is dumped by a Samoan drop, and Xavier Woods eats a double superkick and a People's Elbow.

Paige and Natalya vs Alicia Fox and Brie Bella

This happened. Paige and Natalya got the win after Brie ate a RamPaige.

The Miz vs Kalisto

Before the match, The Miz complains about being interrupted, so naturally, Kalisto interrupts him.

This was a decent match that went longer than you would expect. Kalisto got the win with the Salida Del Sol.

Kalisto def The Miz

Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns vs Rusev and Sheamus

This boring one happened. In the end, Reigns ate some kicks (including a Brogue), but Ambrose stopped the pin attempt. As some chaos brew outside, Reigns speared Sheamus to win.

Ambreigns def Rusev and Sheamus

After the match, Ambrose takes the announce tables apart. Rusev is then double-powerbombed through the main announce table

Stephanie McMahon then comes out to make an announcement for Fastlane.

The main event is a triple threat match: Dean Ambrose vs Roman Reigns vs BROCK LESNAR!!!
