When it was announced that Sting would be the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame class 2016, talk quickly turned to who would have the honor of inducting him. There are a few worthy candidates, including the one who is rumored to be getting the gig, Ric Flair.
In an interview with Miami Herald, The Nature Boy talked about the Stinger and possibly inducting him:
"Charisma, a phenomenal look, a great physique, the spiked blonde hair, an incredible work ethic. So the look, the body, the charisma. He had a lot of ability as well. So it's pretty hard to deny [Sting] anything. I would love to be that person. I haven't been asked, but I would love to."
Flair was Sting's biggest rival throughout his career and is given credit for making him a star at the first Clash of the Champions event in WCW. The two also wrestled each other in the last ever match on Monday Nitro. This would be their first interaction under the WWE umbrella, and what better time and place?
Just be prepared for a waterfall.
