Brock Lesnar enters the Royal Rumble

It's settled.

Rumors suggested that tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw in New Orleans would be the show WWE would make it official and that's exactly what happened: Brock Lesnar will be one of the 30 entrants in the Royal Rumble match scheduled for Sun., Jan. 24, 2016, at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Initially, it looked like that may not be the case. That's because they ran a storyline where Paul Heyman was negotiating for his client to headline WrestleMania 32 against the winner of the Rumble without ever having to enter the match. Because no one gets over on Vince McMahon, he was unable to make the deal.

Which means Lesnar will have to win the WWE world heavyweight championship from Reigns -- and 28 others -- if he's to headline the biggest show of the year with the strap over his shoulder for the second year in a row.

They ended Raw, by the way, establishing Brock as the favorite.
