The fallout from the Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) couldn't save WWE when Monday Night Raw drew just 3.34 million viewers last week. So it's fair to assume that Kane being a psychotic piece of wacko, the return of John Cena's US title open challenge, and a Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt main event wouldn't do much better.
Sure enough, last night's episode of Raw drew 3.32 million viewers. As the Observer points out, that's a record low for the show, the lowest viewers for a non-holiday edition since 1997.
The hourly breakdown indicates the opening hour will be the highest each week, likely due to the NFL owning the night with Monday Night Football -- the Packers win over the Chiefs drew 13.51 million viewers -- over on ESPN
Hour one: 3.48 million
Hour two: 3.33 million
Hour three: 3.19 million
They're inching dangerously close to recording an hour averaging under three million viewers. How long until Vince McMahon himself shows up?
