It sure looked like Sting took a couple of really bad bumps during his match with Seth Rollins last night in the main eventof the Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. That included a flat back bump through the Spanish announce table and a hard powerbomb into the corner a short while after.
Apparently, he was injured at some point in the match, according to a report from the Wrestling Observer. The report indicates that it could be a significant injury.
For its part, WWE has yet to provide any updates on Sting's condition. At one point during the match, the action was stopped and Rollins played to the crowd while doctors checked on him. He was allowed to continue but they went right into the finish shortly after.
The nature of the exact injury is unknown.
