The mystery man was finally revealed when Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose trotted him out to help them take on The Wyatt Family at tonight's WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. And no, it wasn't that fan who invaded the ring dressed up like the third member of The Shield.
None other than Chris Jericho. Yes, a 44-year-old who was immediately the smallest person in the match was the answer the good guys came up with to Bigass McStrongman.
The match, then, went about how you would expect. The big ol' nasty heels pounded away at our heroes while they valiantly fought from underneath. That led into the furious finish, which saw Reigns, Ambrose, and Jericho combine to put Braun Strowman down.
But when Jericho went for the pin, he was tossed aside with ease. Then, because he was the smallest guy in the match, he was put in the dreaded HUG Strowman uses to finish matches. He passed out.
After, Reigns and Ambrose approached him but he walked off upset.
