WWE Night of Champions 2015 results: The New Day lose to The Dudley Boyz but keep the tag team titles

The New Day's quest to save the tables -- and their tag team championship titles -- continued tonight when they put the latter on the line against the Dudley Boyz at the Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

It was preceded by a promo that included Bill Nye the Science Guy and President Barack Obama, if that tells you the kind of night this was going to be.

Meanwhile, Xavier Woods was shouting the Dudleys down for not actually being brothers while playing his trusty trombone with a mic attached ringside. All this while Big E and Kofi Kingston traded tags and kicks on Bubba in the corner. This team is about as entertaining as it gets, folks.

D-Von was set up for the hot tag and he cleaned house when he got in. That led into the finish, where the Dudley Boyz hit the 3-D but Woods ran in to make the save. That was enough for a disqualification, which gave Bubba & D-Von the victory but kept the tag team titles on The New Day.

To give the crowd at least some of what they wanted, Woods went through a table after the match.
