We know WrestleMania 32 is coming to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas in 2016 and we're pretty sure WrestleMania 33 is headed for U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2017, but what about WrestleMania 34 in 2018?
According to a report from Crossing Broad, the city of Philadelphia has submitted a bid for as much.
The plan:
- Lincoln Financial Field hosts WrestleMania 34
- Wells Fargo Center hosts NXT, Monday Night Raw
- Pennsylvania Convention Center hosts Axxess
The report also notes that Philadelphia has expressed interest in the past but couldn't submit a formal bid due to a lack of available venues for ancillary events. Obviously, a formal proposal would mean they've worked all that out and are eager to bring WWE's biggest event back to the "City of Brotherly Love" for the first time since WrestleMania 15 back in 1999.
Let's just hope if they do, WWE has a headliner as compelling as Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock.
