WWE SummerSlam 2015 preview: Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar

The match

Undertaker returns to work a non-WrestleMania event for the first time in years in his quest for revenge against Brock Lesnar in the main event of tonight's WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The players

Undertaker: A dead guy with emotions, he's really fired up and pissed off that not only was his streak broken but Paul Heyman has been a big meanie running around bragging about it.

Brock Lesnar: A cold killer, this beast is just here to be cold and to kill.

The story

Well, there's the story they're actually telling and the story they're close to telling but aren't. The latter is far more entertaining.

The story they're actually telling: Undertaker was okay with Lesnar breaking his streak but Heyman's constant use of the accomplishment in promos irked him to such a degree it raised him from the dead and filled him with the fire of one thousand suns. Now, he's back to exact his revenge.

The story they're close to telling but aren't: Undertaker is in the midst of an identity crisis. His streak defined him and after it was broken, he was forced to take a long, hard look in the mirror. He could either accept what he saw, a beaten man who doesn't have it anymore, or he could reject it and go about the arduous task of proving it wrong. He chose the latter, and is now in the process of regaining his own sense of self. He's clearly desperate to do so, too, and shown he's willing to do almost anything for it.

Now, it's time to see just how far he's willing to go.

What to expect

Kane. Expect Kane.
