Nikki Bella says her match with Becky Lynch on SmackDown this week was cancelled because she 'had an emergency'

During this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE promoted a Nikki Bella vs. Becky Lynch singles match for this coming Thursday night's episode of SmackDown. Sadly, as the spoilers for the show indicate, that match never took place.

Nikki explained why on Twitter today:

True Had an emergency. Want a rematch! Heard @BeckyLynchWWE & Brie had an insane match on #MainEvent Watch it!! N https://t.co/2EiVpPRP2h

She never elaborated on what exactly the emergency was. We'll pass along that update if it ever comes.
