After weeks of rumors, Charlotte and Sasha Banks finally arrived during tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The good news is they weren't alone, as Becky Lynch joined them for what turned out to be one of the best Raw segments of the year.
Not only did we get multiple NXT call ups, of top level stars, we got the return of Stephanie McMahon with the promise of a women's wrestling revolution in WWE. We'll have to wait and see if Vince McMahon allows that to happen, of course, but they gave them a prime time slot at 10 p.m. ET and each of the NXT stars who were called up were put over huge by the current crop of WWE Divas, including Champion Nikki Bella.
It's a good start to what could be a major shift in how women are booked in the top pro wrestling promotion in the world. And hey, if they screw it up we'll always have this video to watch again and again.
