It was announced today that UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo will not compete at the upcoming UFC 189 pay-per-view on July 11 due to a rib injury. The hope was he would be able to work through the injury for a big money match-up against white hot heel Conor McGregor, but that fell apart.
Jamie Noble, who had his ribs broken by Brock Lesnar on Monday Night Raw last week, decided to do some trolling on Twitter before the news broke:
I hope I can be an example for Jose Aldo.. Hey he's still got a few days to grow some. #manup pic.twitter.com/Rn1mjz0vSb

Broke ribs are broke ribs..My job is wrestling I'll wrestle, if it's coal mining I'll go inside, if it's UFC I'd show up

And after the news hit:
Guess I called about Aldo ha!! Thank god for Robbie Lawler!!!!
