The former world champion making his big return to act as special guest referee in the Kurt Angle vs. Eric Young TNA heavyweight title match on Impact Wrestling (read all about the show here) last night turned out to be Bully Ray. But while he was back in the six-sided ring for the first time in months, it doesn't mean that's where he's staying.
He made that clear on his Twitter after the show:

Thus far, WWE has passed on bringing The Dudley Boyz back into the fold or using Ray as a singles wrestler. There's obvious value beyond a surprise appearance in the Royal Rumble but it remains to be seen if WWE is actually interested in seeing what they can get out of him.
At least we know the door isn't completely shut, right?
