Participants announced for Intercontinental title Elimination Chamber match on May 31

Tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw in Richmond featured the big reveal of the six competitors who will participate in the Elimination Chamber match for the Intercontinental championship at the Elimination Chamber special event on the WWE Network on May 31, 2015, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

They are:

Sheamus - He requested that The Authority forgo holding the match altogether and simply give him the title for being the one who put Daniel Bryan on the shelf. Not a bad argument, but one he didn't win.

Ryback - He stood up to Sheamus for his friend Bryan -- because he hates bowlies, remember -- and was inserted into the match for it. Or for something. Even though he just lost to Bray Wyatt at Payback.

R-Truth - Announced from out of nowhere by Michael Cole, Truth has been floating aimlessly in a meaningless program with Stardust.

King Barrett - Announced from out of nowhere by Michael Cole, Barrett has been seen beating on Neville. He also recently became King of the Ring.

Rusev - Announced from out of nowhere by Michael Cole, Rusev was last seen breaking up with Lana after losing to John Cena in an "I Quit" match to end their feud.

Dolph Ziggler - His announcement came just before Lana walked out and gave him two kisses, which enraged Rusev. That explains why the Bulgarian Brute was placed in this match.
