Adam Rose gimmick change coming soon?

When ESPN ran an E:60 special on NXT, the behind-the-scenes look at WWE's developmental promotion revealed a side of Adam Rose fans could connect to, one so far removed from the Adam Rose party character it led to the man himself taking to Twitter to publicly ask for support to bring back his last character, Leo Kruger.

It didn't seem to make a difference. Then, they ran the following segment on SmackDown:

Today, Rose tweeted the following:

Rosebuds are done! Party over! #WWE

Does this signal the end of party time all the time? Is Kruger taking Rose's place? Or is this simply a fresh coat of paint for a character the higher ups at WWE still believe in?
