Chris Jericho will host his first live podcast special on the WWE Network tonight following Monday Night Raw, with John Cena as his interview subject. Considering Jericho is replacing Stone Cold Steve Austin, and there are so many rumors floating around that Vince McMahon was unhappy with some of the harder questions Austin was lobbing at Triple H, questions have arisen regarding how friendly Jericho will be with his guests.
When asked, he originally told fans to simply tune in while hinting that the interview with Cena won't be conducted in kayfabe. Today, he added this:
For those worried that tonights podcast w @johncena is gonna be corporate-ur right. All of my questions have to be approved by #JackTunney

Now, WWE has sent out a press release with the following excerpt (emphasis mine):
Live! With Chris Jericho will debut tonight on WWE Network featuring special-guest WWE Superstar John Cena, immediately following Monday Night Raw. The hour-long televised podcast, hosted by WWE Superstar Chris Jericho, is one of eight, brand new original series recently announced by WWE Network. Fans can expect Jericho to challenge his guests in provocative, candid conversations about their careers, their lives, past controversies and the overall state of WWE.
If it's true that we can expect exactly the same from Jericho that we were getting from Austin, why make the switch? Perhaps it has something to do with outside issues that created a rift that doesn't exist with Jericho. We'll have to give him the benefit of the doubt, at least for now.
Follow along with tonight's podcast here.
