With the influx of new members of Cageside Seats following Wrestlemania, I think it's about time we get to know each other a little bit. So through the month of April, we're going to do the Cageside Seats 30 Day Challenge.
Here are the rules: I'll ask you a different question every day, and you answer it. It's that simple. There are no right or wrong answers (after all, we're talking about your favorites and such). Just think of this as one of those introductory mixer things. Or whatever welcome party thing this is.
Day 23: What is/was your favorite time period in wrestling history?
My answer will probably shock a lot of you: it's this one. Right now. And here's why: there's more wrestling out there than ever before that is accessible to me. I don't like something WWE is doing? I can punch up some classic WWE. Or WWF for that matter. I don't like current TNA. But I'll listen to a review from a TNA show done five years ago. Or watch a TNA match from say, ten years ago. I've spent a few Saturdays binging on Lucha Underground. I watch an independent match from time to time. Ring of Honor and New Japan too. There's so much out there in 2015 there has to be something for every wrestling fan out there. All you have to do is go find it.
So what's your favorite time period in wrestling history?
