Divas champion Nikki Bella and her twin sister Brie are following in fellow 'reality' show star Eva Marie's footsteps, as the duo will grace the cover of Muscle & Fitness Hers magazine's May/June 2015 edition.
The move is the latest in the blossoming partnership between WWE and the American Media, Inc. magazines. In addition to Eva Marie's shoot, Vince McMahon, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have all been featured in the past year, with Hunter & Steph getting "editorial advisor" titles with Muscle & Fitness and Shape, respectively.
Not content with just taking over the fitness modeling game, The Bellas also are looking to extend their reach on television. Nikki told TheTango.net that she and Brie are angling for a spin-off from Total Divas that focuses soley on her, Brie and their friends and family:
Brie and I definitely want to do a spin-off; a show which will focus on our family and also includes our men. I think it would be amazing. We have this group of girlfriends which we've kind of introduced to the world, but not really. Not only are they beautiful but they have personalities that you wouldn't believe, they kind of remind me of Cameron Diaz's character in the film There's Something About Mary.
Now, I'm not an avid Total Divas watcher, but isn't that show already about them? And if their "group of girlfriends" collectively have one personality...that doesn't sound terribly exciting.
The Bellas also talk about working with the legendary men in pro wrestling angles and more in the interview with BANG Showbiz.
What do you think, Cagesiders? Either about using Muscle & Fitness to get some mainstream exposure - and possibly acceptance? - or more Nikki & Brie on E!?
