A couple weeks ago it was announced that Lana, alongside WWE Hall of Famer Edge, would co-star in the upcoming WWE Studios film "Interrogation." The company acquired the rights to the movie in 2012 and is just now getting around to filming it.
Thanks to Edge, we know filming is underway:
First day of #interrogation in the can. Doors were destroyed & friendships were made. Up and at em bright early tomorrow #vitarkamudra

That explains why Lana has disappeared from WWE television, as she hasn't been seen with Rusev since the two had an argument during Monday Night Raw after Lana accepted a WrestleMania match against John Cena. They touched on this a bit on "SmackDown Fallout" this past Friday night:
Lana was missing from WWE house shows this weekend as well, so the Raw angle was a TV write off. There is, of course, no official word on when she'll be back but it's hard to imagine she'll miss WrestleMania 31, which is now just two weeks away.
