Because WWE felt it needed to readjust the story a bit due to fan outrage after Roman Reigns won the Royal Rumble, they are now using The Rock as the basis for an unfair victory. This is, of course, complete nonsense considering Rock didn't actually help Reigns win, he simply helped dispatch two wrestlers, Kane and Big Show, who had already been eliminated and came back to gum up the works. Meanwhile, Reigns tossed Rusev without assistance and Rock simply came back to celebrate.
"The Great One" was actually there in an ill-fated attempt to help Reigns weather the storm of boos cascading down upon him from the Philadelphia faithful. It didn't work, and because of that history is being rewritten to better suit the future needs of the promotion, namely to get us to the Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan main event at the upcoming Fast Lane pay-per-view (PPV) on Feb. 22, 2015, in Memphis, Tennessee.
So, really, just blame The Rock. It's all his fault, not Snitsky.
