Bill Goldberg is more likely to fight than have another pro wrestling match

Our friends at Sporting News caught up with Bill Goldberg recently and asked if it's more likely he'll fight or have a pro wrestling match. His answer:

"Combat sports, for sure. Like I said, it's all dependent upon me and I kind of got lost in the shuffle with these movies. I shot another movie, 'Enter the Fist' after 'Check Point,' and then we are really working on this TV show now. The good thing about it is it doesn't have a time limit on it. Whether it happens next week or next year, it's really not limited by time because I'm not going to say I've stopped Father Time, but I'm in tremendous shape comparatively. It's pretty amazing that I'm still able to do some of things that I'm able to do. Bram (TNA wrestler Thomas Latimer) will tell you, ask him with our little fight scene. It's a good way to test yourself. I still think it's a plausible situation."

As he mentions, Goldberg has been busy with film work of late but that hasn't kept him away from the pro wrestling conversation. It was just one month ago that his camp was angling for a spot on the card at WrestleMania 32 and just a week later that word came, from the man himself, that TNA had contacted him about coming in.

At 48-years-old, you would think his time has passed. But each year we get closer to WrestleMania, his name pops up. Even with all the injuries on the WWE roster right now, it looks unlikely he'll return.

Is that really a bad thing, though?
