WWE presents U.S. troops with a custom world title

A heartfelt gesture from Vince McMahon, Triple H and company.

WWE has a great working relationship with the United States Armed Forces, but every December, the company goes all-out. The centerpiece each year, of course, is WWE's annual Tribute to the Troops holiday special. But they spend a lot of time visiting and entertaining different branches of the military. On Tuesday, WWE owner Vince McMahon and Triple H presented the troops with a custom WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt.

WWE often gives out one-of-a-kind, special belts this year to Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors after winning the NBA Finals and 2015 World Series champions the Kansas City Royals. They're not stingy about making custom side plates when the occasion calls for them.

This year's Tribute to the Troops special will air on USA Network on Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 8 p.m. ET.
