Sami Zayn will make his NXT in-ring return on Saturday

Sami Zayn's in-ring return will finally take place during NXT's tour of the United Kingdom, which begins this week. His first match back will take place on Saturday in Sheffield, England. He's scheduled for a triple threat match with Baron Corbin and NXT Champion Finn Bálor.

Given that Zayn will be part of the UK tour, it's extremely likely that he will be added to next Wednesday's NXT TakeOver: London.

Zayn hasn't wrestled a match since May 20 against Kevin Owens. He famously injured his shoulder prior to a United States Championship match against John Cena on the May 4 episode of RAW. He underwent surgery following his match against Owens at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable two weeks later and has been rehabbing ever since.

The long-anticipated return of Zayn means he will likely enter the crowded NXT title scene that currently includes Bálor, Apollo Crews, Samoa Joe and Corbin. The long road back to the NXT Championship (or a main roster call-up) begins.
