WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR DEC. 7

Chris here. Let's do this

________________________________________

WWE Signature and a recap of last week's WWE World Heavyweight Championship angle involving the League of Nations.

________________________________________

The League of Nations is in the ring and they already have their own stable music.

Sheamus starts by tells us how happy he is before using his usual "you look stupid" chant response. Shemaus then talks about how he spent all day trying to come up with something to say regarding his upcoming WWE WHC defense at TLC against Roman Reigns.

Sheamus says that it was a waste of time because "Sheamus 5:15."

He also says that WWE has now entered the international era because of the League of Nations and its international super-athletes. I should note that "MexAmerica" was not mentioned.

After a "USA" chant, Sheamus starts to talk about the League of Nations dominating The Family last week when arse-kickings were doled out. Sheamus then says that they're the best of the best of the best.

Sheamus keeps repeating "of the best" when The Wyatt Family appears in the ring. The crowd is eating this up as much as we are.

Bray Wyatt says that they have not been properly introduced. His name is Bray Wyatt, and he is flanked by his brothers. Wyatt doesn't care about their nations; in fact, they are just part of Bray Wyatt's little world.

The League of Nations came out to talk, but The Wyatts are out here for the chaos.

All eight men start to prepare for war when The Dudley Boyz and Tommy Dreamer come out to join the fun.

Bubba Ray Dudley says that they're not only going to see Wyatt's chaos, but they're going to raise them extreme chaos...or something like that.

Wyatt shuts Bubba Ray up by saying that they're outgunned and outmanned, so they better not get in Wyatt's way.

D-Von proves that they're not outgunned by bringing out...RHYNO.

This is getting good.

The ECW Originals (that's what I'm going to refer to these four from now on) start to approach the ring when The Family enters from the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, there is about to be a war in Charleston....after this commercial.

ECW Originals vs The Family vs The Wyatt Family vs The League of Nations

This is a sixteen man fatal four way elimination match...*inhale*

Eliminations are in order as follows:

The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan pinned following a Dreamer DDT)

ECW Originals (Bubba Ray Dudley pinned following a Brogue Kick)

The League of Nations (Sheamus pinned following a spear)

On paper, this looked like an idea for an insanely insane match. However, in execution, it kind of fell apart. As it went on, it became more and more predictable despite a couple cool spots. In the end, Reigns spears Sheamus and pins the WWE World Heavyweight Champion

The Family def The League of Nations, ECW Originals, and The Wyatt Family

Backstage, Renee Young interviews Sheamus about the ending of the previous match and what it could mean for TLC. Sheamus quotes Vince McMahon by saying that there is no chance in Hell that Roman Reigns beats him on Sunday. Sheamus then vows to completely rip Reigns apart.

Renee asks if there is a lesson to learn from this, and Sheamus says that he's gonna teach Reigns a lesson later tonight.

In the weird part of backstage, a 3D glasses-wearing Stardust preaches about doomsday and the eventual evisceration of Jack Swagger tonight. Titus O'Neill stumbles into the weird part and tells Stardust that he needs to get some....by getting a good book and some wine or something like that. Stardust responds with some puns before Titus says that he'll see Stardust out there.

Stardust is confused by the idea of "out there."

Dolph Ziggler vs Kevin Owens

Tyler Breeze comes out for this one.

This was another very long match that started to heat up toward the end. After an attempted Ziggler comeback, Owens hits a pop-up powerbomb out of nowhere to win.

Kevin Owens def Dolph Ziggler

Right after Owens got the pin, Dean Ambrose came out with popcorn and soda. He got in the ring where Owens yelled at Ambrose. Ambrose responded by throwing said popcorn and soda in Owens' face and leaving.

The Wyatt Family talks about the ECW Originals. Braun Strowman says that he's gonna wreck Tommy Dreamer.

Before the next match, Neville is getting ready in his locker room when The Miz approaches him for another sales pitch, saying that Neville could be the next Daniel Bryan. Miz introduces Neville to Donnie from USA's namesake show. He whores the show a bit and other stuff happens.

Sasha Banks and Naomi vs Alicia Fox and Brie Bella

This happened. After a distraction from Sasha, Brie is hit with She Calls That The Rear View to give BAD the win.

Sasha Banks and Naomi def Alicia Fox and Brie Bella

As Team BAD celebrates, The New Day comes out and OH MY GOD THE NEW DAY GAVE TEAM BAD UNICORN HORNS AND THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!

The New Day vs Lucha Dragons

Back from break, and The New Days proclaim themselves the most generous performers in WWE through various donations. Despite their generousity, they do not believe that title shots should be given out like candy, especially when the match involved is a triangle ladder match. They then complain about ladders not being useful.

To demonstrate, we get a role play involving a meowing Kofi Kingston, Big E playing a tree, and Xavier Woods rescuing said cat by being a grown man. This gets a round of applause. The New Day then vows to win the ladder match to retain their tag titles.

This happened, and was a bit messy. The end came when Big E was distracted by The Usos beating down Xavier Woods for playing his trombone (B A Star?). The distraction allowed Sin Cara to roll-up Big E to win.

Lucha Dragons def The New Day

Afterward, The Usos steal Xavier Woods' trombone

Renee Young interviews Roman Reigns about Sheamus vowing to teach him a lesson. Reigns is uninterested in Sheamus' lesson. Instead, he wants to offer a few of his own, and they involved getting maimed by the implements of a TLC match before he becomes a former WWE WHC.

It's time for MizTV.

The Miz welcomes us to this thing before introducing his guests: Charlotte and Ric Flair

Charlotte gets on Miz for improperly introducing Ric Flair, and she goes on to do it herself.

Miz addresses Charlotte's maturation on the main roster and asks Ric for his reactions. He, of course, puts her over and vows to be in her corner on Sunday in her match against Paige.

Miz turns around to start talking about Charlotte's new attitude. Charlotte shuts him up and says that she's gonna do what it takes to win...something that Ric did before her. She also implies sexism for reasons, and goes on to says that she feels sorry for Maryse (Miz's wife).

Miz keeps addressing Charlotte's recent tactics and what she has to say to Paige (who supposedly isn't in attendance tonight). Charlotte simply says that she'll says what she has to say on Sunday. Miz tries to stir the pot by getting Charlotte to talk trash. Ric responds by standing up and trying to shut Miz up.

Miz responds by citing things that Paige said about Charlotte being over because of Ric. Ric and Miz trade words until Charlotte butts in by screaming that Paige is lower on the food chain than Miz.

Oh, and Paige IS here tonight, and comes out and is ready for a fight. Her and Charlotte square off until Ric gets Charlotte to back down. Charlotte exits the ring. Paige responds by turning Ric around and slapping him before mocking the Flair Strut.

Ric tells Charlotte to get Paige, and a short scuffle ensues until Paige slips out of the ring.

Ryback vs Rusev

Again, this happened, although there were a couple interesting hoss fight moments. The end came when Ryback started chasing Rusev around the ring. Ryback ran into Lana and she sold a hurt leg. Rusev didn't like this too much, so he locks Ryback into The Accolade on the outside. A count-out ensued.

Ryback and Rusev fight to a double count-out

Afterward, Lana and Rusev smooch a bit.

Stardust vs Jack Swagger

We literally came back to this match as it was in progress. During an Ankle Lock, Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Coulter came on out. Despite the distraction and a flurry from Stardust, Swagger wins with the Ankle Lock.

Jack Swagger def Stardust

Afterward, Del Rio attacks everyone with a chair. Swagger gets a chair and screams at Del Rio a lot before the the former whacks the chair out of Del Rio's hand. Del Rio runs as Swagger starts barking at Coulter about his hypocrisy. Coulter just rolls away - so many GIFs from that moment.

Jeez, I wonder what kind of match they're gonna have....

Adam Rose presents The Rosebush.....ok then...

Backstage, Alberto Del Rio is yelling at Zeb Coulter for being in his way. Coulter says that Del Rio needs to calm down a bit. Del Rio calms down by threatening Coulter with a chair...he also all-but-confirms the Chairs match

Tommy Dreamer vs Braun Strowman

I should add that the ECW Originals are taking on The Wyatt Family in an eight-man elimination tables match

This happened. Dreamer goes for the Dreamer DDT but is choked out.

Braun Strowman def Tommy Dreamer

________________________________________

Roman Reigns is in the ring for this so-called "lesson." The ring is also surrounded with tables, ladders, and chairs.

An impatient Reigns calls Sheamus out, and then goes on to reference the classic TLC match between The Shield and Team Hell No Back at TLC 2012. Reigns then climbs the ladder and relates it to him climbing the ladder of success in WWE.

Now as for tonight, Reigns isn't going to leave the ring until Sheamus comes down and is destroyed with all of the toys around the ring.

Sheamus obliges and comes out with mic in hand. He calls Reigns quite the storyteller and a dreamer for wanting to beat him for his title. Quite frankly, Reigns is out of touch. Sheamus vows to beat Reigns to retain his WWE WHC.

The two trade barbs for what seems like forever until Sheamus says that he's not gonna fight tonight. Reigns is just ignoring his words and starts talking about potatoes and tater tots and what is going on with this segment?

As expected, a "tater tots" chant starts. When this dies down, Sheamus talks about castle building at TLC with Reigns being the foundation....I honestly can't believe I'm typing these words describing an actual televised segment.

For some reason, Sheamus complains about the various toys in the ring, and Reigns responds by emptying them out while constantly calling Sheamus "tater tot." This part ends with Reigns throwing a ladder at Sheamus.

After what feels like an eternity or two, Sheamus and Reigns finally start brawling. Both men throw each other into the various things and stuff. In the end, Reigns spears Sheamus through the table.

Reigns stands tall to go into TLC.
