WWE SmackDown spoilers (Dec. 31, 2015): Happy New Year!

WWE SmackDown returns to SyFy this coming Thursday night (Dec. 31, 2015) from Washington D.C. but the show was taped, as usual, on Tuesday. That means full spoilers are readily available if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.

Unwrap that present early:

- New Day opened the show with a promo including party hats and dicks on heads. Lucha Dragons interrupted, with Sin Cara in a sling. They challenged New Day to a match with their friends who brought tables. Yep, it's the Dudly Boyz. Kalisto won with Salida Del Sol and Xavier Woods went through a table post-match.

- Tyler Breeze def. Goldust. After, he got on the mic and said he and Summer Rae were breaking up.

- Braun Strowman & Luke Harper def. The Usos when BigHug McGoToSleep put one of the Usos out with the HUG OF DOOM (head and arm triangle).

- Brie Bella & Alicia Fox def. Naomi & Tamina Snuka with Brie pinning Naomi in a fairly short match. "We want Sasha" chants were heard.

- They did a backstage bit with Bo Dallas wandering around giving people "re-bo-lutions" for the new year. That included Curtis Axel, who went back to working his Royal Rumble gimmick, and Dolph Ziggler, who said the two would have a match. Ziggler went over, but it wasn't very good and Bo got plenty of cheers.

- Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose def. Sheamus & Kevin Owens via disqualification when Owens went too far. They did a post-match spot where Owens was going to put Ambrose through the announce desk again while Sheamus made Reigns watch but the babyfaces got away and ran the heels off to stand tall to close the show.
