Tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn saw Vince McMahon arrested for getting a little too touchy with a police officer. Naturally, he made his way back to the building in time for the main event, where John Cena lost to Alberto Del Rio thanks to interference from the League of Nations. After a failed run-in from The Usos, Roman Reigns hit the ring to save the day.
That's when Vince showed up to drop this bombshell:
.@WWERomanReigns defends the #WWETitle against @WWESheamus NEXT WEEK on #RAW with a special guest referee... https://t.co/dsQ9TDrJbf

The first Raw of the new year -- have a happy one, pal -- will feature Reigns defending his WWE world heavyweight championship against Sheamus with Vince as special guest referee. This is, essentially, the same playbook they used for Stone Cold Steve Austin back in 1998.
Hey, they did killer ratings with that playbook.
It also means at least one more episode of WWE television featuring McMahon, who has always been a ratings draw for the promotion.
