It's been over a month now that John Cena has been off television and while advertising was released that had him coming back in a couple of weeks, PW Insider notes that he's been pulled from ads for a Dec. 19 house show in Inglewood, California.
That would mean, then, his official return likely won't come until the day after Christmas when WWE runs Madison Square Garden.
Considering all the injuries on the roster and the poor ratings of late, he can't come back soon enough.
Meanwhile, PW Insider also reports Big Show was at the Performance Center earlier this week and he's scheduled to work the weekend house show run. He hasn't been around following his first round loss to Roman Reigns in the WWE world heavyweight title tournament back on the Nov. 9 episode of Monday Night Raw. There have been some rumors that he's been dealing with a knee injury of some sort.
