Ronda Rousey wants to be a part of the WWE Divas Revolution

The flirtation continues.

It wasn't long ago that UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey was telling media she wants to be WWE Divas champion someday. The current titleholder, Charlotte, jumped all over that, because of course she would. Now, Rousey tells Rolling Stone she's ready to answer the call because she badly wants to be a part of the WWE Divas Revolution:

"I'm ready. I've seen NXT, I remember Nattie and Charlotte's match for the title. Nattie was actually training with the original Four Horsewomen to get ready for that fight. I have so many obligations, but I really want to find a way to make it happen. I'm a huge fan wrestling, and I would like to see the position of women in the sport continue to improve, so if I can be a part of it, great."

Rousey is widely credited for helping create it, if only within the company, thanks to her rise in the combat sports world. She's the biggest star the UFC has, and WWE is clearly courting her for whenever the time comes that she decides to deal in worked matches instead of shoot fights.

It's starting to feel like it's no longer a matter of "if" but "when."
