WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR NOV. 2
BaconStrips here. Let's do this.
Geno tagging in this week. DEAL WITH IT.
Roman Reigns is out first, as he's proudly trumpeted as THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER TO THE WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT UNIVERSE.
Full John Cena -- with a little Mick Foley mixed in -- to start: "Based on your energy, I'm proud to be here in Denver, Colorado."
The fans are cheering him, at least.
He calls out Seth Rollins for brown nosing and kissing The Authority's ass. He doesn't like people who lie to his face and stab his back, "so I guess I don't like Seth Rollins."
That's some sound deductive reasoning.
"There is not a force on Earth that can stop me from becoming ... GASP HEAVY BREATH SNARL ... the WWE world heavyweight champion. BELIEVE THAT."
A good promo.
That's when Rollins' music hits and he comes out cackling, saying it's funny that Reigns thinks he can do what no one else has been able to. Then he compliments Roman for being really good before proclaiming that while he's good, he'll always be second best.
"These people will always remember you as the guy who used to carry my bags," Rollins remarks.
"Why don't you carry yourself down here and we'll see who the real man is," Reigns responds.
Seth teases walking to the ring, then actually does so but ON YOUR KNEES, DOG and here comes The Authority. Stephanie McMahon wants to make it official, taking a poll of the audience. They cheer loudly. She heels on the crowd, saying they're going to get the match but not tonight.
"I know that we're at altitude but how high are you people?"
Oh, Triple H with the jokes.
He then announces a traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series for tonight: Team Rollins vs. Team Reigns. I'm guessing they'll find their own teammates.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens
Our first match involves a champion but is not for a title. The Intercontinental champ does an inset promo saying he doesn't have to tell people he's the greatest ever because he just goes out and prove it. And if you don't like him, well, guess what, he doesn't like you either.
Sick burn.
Owens was dominating the match while Ziggler was selling a leg. When KO got sent to the outside, Tyler Breeze's music hit and he did his entrance with Summer Rae. It was cut off by a commercial break. When they came back, replay showed that Breeze distracted Dolph long enough for Owens to once again take control.
Meanwhile, Summer Breeze were on the outside taking selfies and hanging out on Facebook.
Ziggler made another comeback and after a near fall Breeze got up near the apron to take another selfie, this time with Ziggler in the background. Naturally, Dolph swiped at him and when he turned around, KO hit him with a pop up powerbomb for the pin.
Owens def. Ziggler
Denver counted along and cheered this.
Owens left, so Breeze got in the ring and took a selfie over Dolph's dead body. Ziggler came to enough to throw a punch but Breeze laid him out again and this time Summer climbed in to get in on the selfie.

Backstage, Owens was unwrapping his wrists when Rollins showed up to talk turkey. Seth talked about wanting to do a champion vs. champion match at WrestleMania. That was a lead-in for Rollins to ask if KO would join his team and Owens agreed.
"Just remember, you owe me one."
Rollins laughed as Owens walked away.

Renee Young welcomed Becky Lynch for an interview.
"Please welcome the 'B' in the trio formerly known as 'Team PCB'..." and Becky got upset because Becky is all about puns. She said she wasn't completely broken down after what Paige did last week but it was an eye opening experience for her and she can't wait to get revenge.
Brie Bella showed up to say she's going to win. Becky called her a "pathetic doormat of a sister" to Nikki.
After Brie bailed off, Becky turned back to Renee super excited about a fight going down in Denver tonight.

Cesaro vs. The Miz
This match was set up on the pre-show.
Cosmic Wasteland made an appearance in the crowd, with Konnor and Viktor holding up "Stardust" section signs while the Cosmic King looked bored of all this. Miz only briefly got enough offense in to set up for Cesaro to knock him back down, give him the Giant Swing, and FINALLY win a match with the Sharpshooter.
For Tyson.
He acknowledged the Cosmic Wasteland in the crowd after.

The Wyatt Family were out.
Bray said he wants to give everyone something we'll never forget, something truly special. We watched them carry out the rotting carcass of Undertaker and the scorched body of Kane. But it was never the bodies they wanted; a body is temporary; disposable; completely useless after a while.
A soul lives forever.
A soul needs to be consumed by a higher power, and Bray has become that. So tonight he wants to enlighten us to the fact that he and his family have successfully harvested the souls of Undertaker and Demon Kane. He said he's consumed their power and he belongs to him.
Then he summoned thunder and lightning and all the forces of darkness. Then he summoned fire and he's going to burn some shit to the ground, y'all.
They ran a video package for Undertaker and Kane, and that was that.

Lucha Dragons vs. King Barrett & Sheamus
The commentary team immediately stopped selling that a deranged man who was claiming he ate two people's souls was just summoning lightning and fire minutes before to call this match, where the Lucha Dragons used speed and technique to hang with the power and glory of Barrett and Sheamus.
It only lasted so long because the heels cheat.
Sin Cara was the member of the Dragons to take the beating, and he took it well. Kalisto got in as the hot tag and after Sheamus was sent out, countered the Bullhammer with Salida del Sol to get the pin.
Lucha Dragons def. Barrett & Sheamus

Jack Swagger ran into Zeb Colter backstage.
Swagger asked Colter if he's okay, considering everything that's going on with Alberto Del Rio and MexAmerica. Zeb said everything is fine and they're trying to bring two countries together. Mexico has great people and great resources, so when they come together...
Swagger isn't buying what he's selling.
Del Rio showed up and told Swagger to stay away because "people like you are always looking for trouble, and if you're looking for trouble you came to the right place."
They repeated the talking points again and that was that.

Alberto Del Rio vs. R-Truth
This was exactly what you would expect this to be. Del Rio beat up Truth and literally no one in the audience cared about it. For whatever it's worth, Del Rio still isn't using the Cross Armbreaker finish, instead using the double foot stomp in the corner.
Del Rio def. R-Truth

Backstage, Rollins was walking around looking for partners and The New Day came up on him shouting about being his teammates. He agreed to it but under the condition they play by his rules.
They agreed. "You the captain!"
Rollins made note of the fact that they needed another guy. Big E and Kofi did the unicorn gimmick and the trombone hit. Xavier Woods jumped into the screen.
"I'm baaaaaaack!"
The New Day are reunited, which gives Team Rollins five members. Seth has just about had enough of all of their shit. Woods plays the trombone for him anyway and they chant "Team Rollins." Seth turns pretty quick and starts dancing and chanting with them before realizing what he's doing and bailing.

JoJo caught up to Sasha Banks and asked if she has any anxiety for tonight's match. Sasha thinks that's cute but wants a real question. JoJo brings up the fans chanting for her and how that might mean pressure.
"Pressure? I always deliver! Of course they want me!"
She finishes up by saying she's coming for Charlotte and her title. Then she makes a crack about JoJo looking like she's still dressed for Halloween.
"The Boss is taking over."
Time for the Divas title match.
Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks vs. Paige vs. Brie Bella
We're told right away that team members were banned from ringside, so there won't be any interference. Becky showed attention to detail right away by pacing back and forth waiting for the bell to attack Paige, then rushing her when the bell rang. That just led to her getting thrown down by Brie and Sasha, but she did get her hands on Paige shortly after.
Then, it went into your usual Fatal 4-Way trade off style.
After a combo suplex powerbomb off the top rope involving all four women, the crowd gave them a "this is awesome" chant. They went into near falls shortly after, with Becky getting the Disarmher on Brie but Sasha running in and putting Becky in the Bank Statement before Paige came in to hit the Rampaige on Becky for the pin.
Paige def. Lynch, Banks, Bella
The crowd cheered Paige until she cut a heel promo after calling everyone a loser, especially people who cheered for her opponents.
After a commercial break they did an interview with Charlotte, who said she was glad that Paige won. "It's obvious she'll do anything to win but so will I." She said Paige made it about her family -- the richest thing to ever come from a wrestler's mouth in history, especially one we're supposed to like -- and said it just makes her stronger when people say she's only here because of her father.

Main event time.
New Day were out first so they could work their usual promo magic. We learn their favorite band: Survivor. Favorite reality show: Survivor. Favorite Destiny's Child song: Survivor. Favorite book: Lone Survivor.
You get it.
They're really working the unicorn gimmick and the fans are actually working it with them. This is amazing.
Team Rollins (Rollins, New Day, Owens) vs. Team Reigns (Reigns, Usos, Ryback, Ambrose)
The Usos made their return here in a surprise.
Xavier Woods was eliminated immediately, as Jimmy and Jey combined to hit a superkick and splash to pin him and send him packing.
Kofi was next out before Big E got in and took out Jey Uso and then Owens got in hit a Pop Up Powerbomb to take Jimmy Uso out.
Big E was next out when Ryback got in off a hot tag and, after some chaos, countered the Big Ending with Shell Shock.
Rollins immediately got in and hit him with a Pedigree for the pin to eliminate him.
Owens was next out because Rollins is a dolt and wanted to talk trash to Ambrose instead of attack when KO had him held back. By the time Seth attacked, Dean recovered, moved, and Owens was hit with a flying knee and pinned.
That left Rollins against the team of Ambrose and Reigns.
Rollins was getting his ass kicked while trying to run away and continuously getting pulled back, so he just grabbed a chair and used it on both guys, getting disqualified in the process.
Team Reigns def. Team Rollins
Lame finish.
Rollins kept going with the chair but Reigns hit him with a Superman Punch to send him out and they closed with Roman and Dean in the ring and the former's music playing while Rollins sold his jaw on the ramp.
End.
