Rey Mysterio has already gone on record saying he would be open to returning to WWE but he's enjoying his time away because it gives him the chance to spend real time with his wife and children, something that has become important to him as they've gotten older.
Now, he tells WrestleTalk TV that he would go for a WWE comeback assuming it wasn't too much of a commitment:
"When you're in WWE, it's a part of that contract signing, that grind. You're on-call 24-7. That's why you become the star that you are. ... My son is 18, almost going to college. My daughter is going to be 15 next year, and she's growing up fast. If the opportunity came, and it wasn't too committed, why not?"
With WWE allowing the likes of Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, and Batista to work part-time schedules, it's not unreasonable to believe the same could be done for Mysterio, who would greatly benefit from a reduced workload.
Maybe one day.
