There was a time when WWE could depend on viewers for post-pay-per-view (PPV) episodes of Monday Night Raw going up if only because they were post-PPV episodes. That no longer appears to be the case in the WWE Network era, as evidenced further by last night's show drawing 3.35 million viewers, right in line with last week's 3.35 million.
They're actually down slightly at 3.354 this week compared to 3.357 last week.
The hourly breakdown:
Hour one: 3.63 million
Hour two: 3.21 million
Hour three: 3.21 million
That huge second hour drop is really something considering the show layout but that very layout likely led to those viewers sticking around all the way through. The numbers are still bad, of course, but it could be much worse, especially considering John Cena was gone.
Still, that this is the best they could do the night after a PPV that featured the likes of Undertaker and Brock Lesnar is troubling to say the least.
