WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR OCT. 26
BaconStrips here. Let's do this.
WWE Signature and we go straight to San Diego where The Authority comes out to start the show (I haven't typed that in a while).
Stephanie McMahon and Triple H talk about some stuff from Hell in a Cell, including Alberto Del Rio's surprise return. They then introduce Seth Rollins.
Steph brings up how Rollins has been champion for a long time since cashing in at WrestleMania. Trips talks about how The Authority has lined up many opponents for Rollins, and he has rolled through all of them. They continue putting him over before saying that they're both proud of him.
Rollins hugs Steph and Trips and says that he's speechless before going on about how he defeated ZOMG THE DEMON KANE, ousting Corporate Kane as the Director of Operations. Rollins stops and thanks The Authority for allowing this to happen. He calls for applause and gets boos instead.
However, Rollins defeating Kane has left The Authority in an awkward situation since he's defeated anyone and everyone put in front of him. Therefore, Trips says that there will be a tournament to crown the next #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. There will be matches featuring the winners of all of the matches last night, with the winners of those matches getting into a Fatal 4 Way match later tonigh. The winner of the F4W match gets to face Rollins for the WWE WHC.
As Rollins gives his approval, Roman Reigns interrupts. He says that this whole love-fest for Rollins is making him sick, and he vows to become #1 contender and to take Rollins' title....believe that.
Rollins and Reigns have a staredown before Steph calls for the games to begin.
Roman Reigns vs Kofi Kingston
Reigns is so cute when he corpses.
Kofi and Big E cut a promo making fun of Reigns' greasy locks before dropping the bombshell that they are champions and Reigns is not. They channel their inner Harry Potter and cast spells toward Reigns, making LadyBlack go all crazy (seriously, she's a huge HP fan).
You'd expect this one to be fun, right? Well, it was all that and more. Both men blew me away in this amazingly fun back-and-forth match. Both men got to get a good deal of offense in on each other. In the end, Big E tries to make a distraction during a Superman Punch, and is punched for his trouble. Kofi tries to capitalize with Trouble in Paradise, but Reigns dodges and hits a monster spear for win.

Go out of your way to watch this if you didn't catch it live.
The Miz plays some WWE 2K16
Matches are announced for tonight: Neville vs Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler vs Big E, and Cesaro vs Kevin Owens.
Kevin Owens vs Cesaro
This match was also a hell of a lot of fun. Cesaro and Owens had some insanely fun sequences, getting the crowd hotter and hotter as the match went on. The end came as Cesaro was trying to work Owens over in the ropes. The ref kept separating the two, and Owens eventually used this to hit a superkick. He followed with a pop-up powerbomb to win.

Backstage, Paige is chatting on the phone when Becky Lynch and Charlotte enter. Paige puts Charlotte over as a good Divas Champion, but Charlotte isn't biting. Charlotte threatens Paige with consequences if they find out that Paige attacked Natalya. Regardless, Team PCB is together...for one night anyway.
Team PCB vs Team Bella
Welp, this happened. Roles were a little different with Charlotte playing face-in-peril and Becky Lynch getting the hot tag. However, all was for moot as Nikki pinned Becky with the Rack Attack.
Team Bella def Team PCB
After, Paige turns on her teammates and lays them out with the Ram-Paige. She then locks Charlotte in the scorpion crosslock for good measure.
Renee Young interviews Zeb Coulter and Alberto Del Rio, calling them an "interesting" combination. Coulter brings up Imagine by John Lennon, talking about how there should be no distinctive countries. Therefore, he wants to make a new nation: Mex-America. Renee turns her attention to Del Rio, and he talks about becoming champion again or something.
Neville vs Alberto Del Rio
As with the other two contendership matches tonight, this was a very fun and stiff affair. Both men got some good offense in, but Del Rio was just too much for Neville. He crotched Neville as he went for a moonsault to the outside. Del Rio followed this by stomping Neville's face through his face to win.
Alberto Del Rio def Neville; advances to Fatal-4-Way
Team Eurotrash vs The Dudley Boyz and Ryback
Well, this was another one that happened. D-Von played face-in-peril yet again, and there was a pretty cool triple Meat Hook spot. However, King Barrett snuck in and rolled up Bubba Ray to win.
Team Eurotrash def The Dudley Boyz and Ryback
Afterward, Barrett celebrated as if the UK just won the World Cup.
Bray Wyatt is sitting in the middle of the ring.
Wyatt address Undertaker's 25 years in WWE and how he had no equal throughout the years.
Last night, however, the apocalypse showed up last night, and they carried out the soul of The Undertaker.
Can you feel it?
Last night was war, and Wyatt wants to make something clear: Reigns and Wyatt will dance once again, but not until Wyatt is "properly revitalized." Therefore, the demise of Undertaker was Wyatt's resurrection.
Right now, Wyatt is feasting on Undertaker's soul, and he needs more. In face, Wyatt will not stop until Undertaker is gone completely.
Somewhere in this moment, Taker's soul is being methodically eviscerated.
Wyatt tells the audience to bow their heads and to share a moment of silence for the man who has lost his soul to Bray Wyatt.
Rest in peace, Phenom.
Boom goes Kane's pyro, and ZOMG THE DEMON KANE is coming to Wyatt. However, as Kane enters, the rest of the Wyatt Family appears and flanks the ring. Rowan and Harper attack, but are repelled. Braun Strowman enters and faces off with Kane. Kane throws some strikes and repels Strowman briefly.
Kane actually has the upper hand for a bit and faces Wyatt to chokeslam him, but the remaining Wyatts enter to gang up on him. Kane is beat down by The Wyatts.
Afterward, Kane is carried off to have his soul harvested by Gremlins and Furbys.
Backstage, The Wyatt Family drags Kane off to the torture room as Bray Wyatt sings.
Big E vs Dolph Ziggler
Kofi Kingston is still selling the spear from two hours ago, so there's that. Also, Tyler Breeze and Summer Rae come out to enjoy this one at ringside and OH MY GOD THEY HAVE A VIP SECTION AT RINGSIDE!
As with the other three qualifying matches, this was a very fun back-and-forth match. Big E controlled for a good while with some hossy offense, but Ziggler kept bringing the fight as Breeze looked on. Ziggler won with the Zig Zag after Big E speared the ring post.
Dolph Ziggler def Big E; advances to Fatal-4-Way
Therefore, our Fatal 4 Way is Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, and Dolph Ziggler
Backstage, Dean Ambrose gives Roman Reigns a pep talk for his upcoming match.
Titus O' Neill and some others are in the ring for a Susan G Komen segment.
Backstage, The Miz is still playing video games when Stone Cold approaches him for another hype moment.
Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler vs Alberto Del Rio vs Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins is observing from ringside.
This match.....THIS FREAKING MATCH. It had everything you would want from a good fatal 4 way. Just...I can't explain it in words; just watch it. Reigns gets the hard-fought win after spearing and pinning Kevin Owens
Roman Reigns def Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, and Alberto Del Rio
After, Rollins angrily puts Reigns over before a staredown ensues between the two men. After some moments, Rollins grabs his title, but the staredown continues as Rollins laughs. Eventually Reigns pats the title, turns his back on Rollins, and walks away like a badass to end.
