WWE told us the Hell in a Cell match between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar in the main event of tonight's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view (PPV) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, would be the final meeting between the two.
If you were worried the PG era and current company policy would affect their ability to get gruesome, you worried for nothing. They both bled, really early, and they both sold out for it completely, though Brock came closest to breaking the Muta scale.
They wasted little time going into the big spots. They traded death and destruction in the form of finishers, chair shots, steel steps, and Lesnar even tore up the ring just to take bumps on it. He took a choke slam and a Tombstone while Undertaker took an F-5, the final F-5 on the exposed part of the mat.
Only after a poetic low blow, a receipt for the many times Undertaker had done the same.
Brock Lesnar, once again, defeated Undertaker, just like he always does.
So long, "Deadman."
