James Storm made his surprise debut in NXT at the tapings that took place on Oct. 8 but his match didn't make air until this past Wednesday night's episode on the WWE Network (watch it here). Well, NXT returned to Full Sail in Orlando for another set of tapings last night and -- SPOILER ALERT -- Storm wasn't there.
Today, WWE.com ran an interview with the former TNA star asking if we'll see him back in NXT or maybe even on the main roster in WWE:
"That's the million-dollar question. That's not really up to me. My job is to go out and get myself over, as they say. And it's up to what we call 'the suits' to make the decision of whether to bring me back to NXT or the WWE main roster. I get so many people all the time saying, 'We want to see you and Bray Wyatt go at it on the microphone.' I always say that you never know what's going to happen in wrestling. And I just take one day at a time."
He's currently taking outside bookings and appearing on the independent scene but WWE has pushed his appearance in NXT so hard it's difficult to imagine the company has no further plans to use him.
As he closes the interview with WWE, we'll just have to "Keep a lookout for James Storm, because I will be there."
