It's official!
There were rumors and speculation for some time that WWE would use last night's episode of Monday Night Raw in Dallas, Texas to announce that WrestleMania 32 would be coming to the area in 2016. Then, the show came and went with no such announcement.
For whatever reason, they waited until a couple hours after the show to make it official.
WrestleMania 32 will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Later today, a media event will be held at the stadium featuring WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, WWE Superstar John Cena and other WWE Superstars and Divas, to celebrate the announcement.
The stadium, the home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, seats around 80,000 but can hold over 100,000 people. WrestleMania is a major event that hardly ever has trouble selling out but they're going to need to bring the big guns to fill that building.
Undertaker's retirement match? The return of Stone Cold Steve Austin?
Stay tuned.
