Royal Rumble Lottery Spectacular to air on WWE Network in place of Main Event on Jan. 20, 2015

With Main Event off the schedule next week on the WWE Network, WWE has announced it will instead air a one hour special hosted by Santino Marella entitled "Santino's Royal Rumble Lottery Spectacular" on Tues., Jan. 20, 2015, at 8 p.m. ET.

Over at WWE.com, the show is described as "a unique look back at Royal Rumble's most entertaining moments." Essentially, it will look something like the special that was put together with Mick Foley looking back on TLC matches in advance of the TLC pay-per-view late last year.

There's been some speculation that participants in this year's Royal Rumble will pick their entry number from a tumbler as part of the special but WWE hasn't even hinted at as much in promotion for the show. If that was going to be the case, you would think it would be mentioned, though there are two episodes of television before it's set to air next week.
