There have been a number of reasons floated around regarding why it's taken so long to put the great Macho Man Randy Savage into the WWE Hall of Fame. Chief among them was the fact that Randy had reportedly told the company he would only go in if the entire Poffo family was going in with him.
After he died, his brother, Lanny Poffo, maintained that that was his stance and they wouldn't budge on as much. Eventually, he told WWE that they could induct him but it would be without his blessing and he would not attend the ceremony.
Well, something changed in the time since then because WWE officially announced Savage will go in during Raw last night. What's more, Hulk Hogan, not Lanny, will be the guy who inducts him. About this, the Hulkster took to Twitter today to say the following:
Just talked to Lanny, things are exactly the way he wants them for the Poffo family and Randy, only love HH

We'll have to take Hogan's word until and unless new information presents itself. Let's hope all is well for all involved here, especially Savage's family.
